We are back for a Triple F (Five Football Favorites) weekly article. Going 5-0 is great like we did last week, but wouldn’t 10-0 be even better? Anyway, let’s get done with the ranting and onto the football. If no cancellations occur, this will be 5 games in 5 nights starting from Thursday to Monday. Best of luck and please remember to gamble responsible with tight money management!
Game #1 – Los Angeles Chargers vs. Las Vegas Raiders – Raiders -3.5 @ 1.91

What better way to start off the football week then some Thursday Night Football? This is strictly a bet based on two simple facts. One, if Matt Ryan (Matty Ice) didn’t throw interception after interception the Los Angeles Chargers would be on a 3 game losing streak. The Chargers are “high” coming off a last second field goal win from the Money Badger. We expect them to lay an egg on Thursday in Las Vegas. The second and more important reason is that the Raiders are on life support when it comes to making the Playoffs. Losers of 3 of 4, we are expecting their defense to tighten up and the Raiders to easily cover this 3.5 point spread.
Game #2 – Oregon Ducks vs. USC Trojans – Trojans -3 @ 1.90

Friday takes us to the Pac 12 College Football Championship. The Pac 12 is a complete mess but USC will show why they are the knights in shining armour. At 5-0 and ranked #15 in the nation, the Trojans should easily beat these lifeless Ducks who backdoored their way into the Championship game. Losers of 2 in a row, we expect the Trojans to go retro NES and “Duck Hunt” this team from Oregon. This one shouldn’t be close boys especially with the momentum USC has after that comeback win against UCLA last week. The Trojans have Rose Bowl aspirations and we would be completely shocked if they don’t cover this 3 point spread on Friday night.
Game #3 – Carolina Panthers vs. Green Bay Packers – Packers -8 @ 1.90
Bet Slip: https://stake.com/sports/betlist?iid=sport%3A5116670&modal=bet
Are you ready for some Saturday NFL football? We never like to lay a big spread in the NFL, but we’re quietly confident that the Packers will easily cover this 8 point spread. The Packers definitely want to keep the #1 Seed in the NFC and we would be shocked if the Panthers keep this game close. The Panthers are on a 2 game losing streak and have lost 4 of 5. The simple principle of this game is that the Panthers are a warm weather team going into frigid Green Bay. Always fade warm weather teams in December when they have to go up North. Lay the points and expect an easy cover for the Cheeseheads on Saturday Night.
Game #4 – Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings – Vikings -3 @ 1.81
Bet Slip: https://stake.com/sports/betlist?iid=sport%3A5116750&modal=bet
Finally, we get to a regular Sunday NFL matchup between two 6-7 teams that are desperate to get the last seed in the playoffs. Please don’t be fooled by the Bears 36-7 stomping of the Houston Texans. Please remember that they lost 6 in a row before that game and the Vikings are hungry after a loss to TB12 (Tom Brady). The Vikings are simply the better team here and we expect them to finally win a game by more than a touchdown. Lay the 3 points and expect the Vikings to easily cover the spread in what should be a masterpiece 4 touchdown game by Kirk Cousins. Remember, he’s amazing when he’s not on Monday night!
Game #5 – Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals – Steelers -11 @ 1.90
Bet Slip: https://stake.com/sports/betlist?iid=sport%3A5116897&modal=bet
Monday Night Football is finally here. The Steelers disappointed on Sunday Night Football last week and we expect them to bounce back against a Bengals team who is desperately trying to get a great draft pick. Once at 11-0, the Steelers offense has looked atrocious the last two games. Remember boys and girls, the Steelers beat the Bengals 36-10 just a month ago. Expect the same type of beatdown in a Monday Night snoozefest that won’t be close come the 3rd quarter. Simply put, the Steelers are a much better team than the Bengals. Lay the 11 points and expect an easy cover.
So there you have it. Triple F (Five Football Favorites) in five days. After going 5-0 last week, we have an extra pep in our proverbial steps. Lay the points with the five favourites and this multi will pay out 24:1. Best of luck everyone! https://stake.com/sports/betlist?iid=sport%3A5117083&modal=bet
