Finally, one of Europe’s top leagues is back! And of course, we are going to be having a bet on the Bundesliga! It would be rude not to.
Just like the UFC last week, we thought we’d give you a helping hand this weekend, in spite of the fact that anything can happen after months of no action!
Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke – The Revierderby
We expect a lot of goals and some fireworks in this derby. Dortmund will be eager to get off to a strong start to their return to football – avenging their Champions League exit that will still be hurting. However, Schalke have always been a thorn in Dormund’s side. That being said, they’re the only team in European qualification spots with a negative goal difference.
We say Dortmund to win and over 2.5 goals in this one. Borussia Dortmund and over 2.5 – 2.12
RB Leipzig vs SC Freiburg
There may be a bit of uncertainty around the short term future of the league continuing, as well as other major leagues around the world, but there’s still a title to play for! Leipzig are just five points adrift off top spot in the Bundesliga, but they do have a game in hand. Freiburg are fighting for European qualification, but the might of Leipzig may be too much to overcome.
We say Leipzig to win comfortably at home. RB Leipzig -1.5 Asian Handicap – 1.88
FC Union Berlin vs Bayern Munich
We expect a cagey affair in this one, with Union Berlin exceeding their own expectations this season already. Of course, Bayern are expected to win, but we think both teams will score. Union Berlin were unlucky to not achieve a result in their last outing against Bayern, going down 2-1. They also scored in their last five league games, and we expect them to do so again. There may be some good value for you in there.
We say Bayern to win in an exciting affair. Both teams to score – Yes: 2.09
Werder Bremen vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Motivation for this game is key here. There is no doubt that a poor Bremen season thus far had them hoping in the Covid-Related break for a void season, meaning their safety in the league. We feel Leverkusen will be more up for this one, and are the much better side on paper. They’re motivation could take them ahead of one-time league leaders Borussia Mochengladbach and into the Champions League spots.
We say Leverkusen are too strong for the relegation candidates. Bayer 04 Leverkusen – WIN: 1.73
MULTI ODDS: 14.41
