Arsenal vs Brighton & Hove Albion – 1×2 & Both Teams to Score – Arsenal & Yes @ 3.15
The Gunners have had a very unremarkable season, crashing out of the Europa League and missing the top four once again. With that said, Mikel Arteta’s side have gained the second most points since Boxing Day, which itself is a fair achievement. Although the Champions League is well out of reach, the final Europa League spot is very much attainable, with local rivals Tottenham playing Leicester away and Everton facing the champions elect Manchester City. You’d expect neither Spurs or the Toffees take full points from those matches, leaving the door open for Arsenal to sneak into 7th. The embarrassment of not making the Europa League Final and the prospect of not making a major European competition since 1996 has given them a new lease of life late in the season. Brighton have been a bogey team for the Gunners as of late, but you’d think with so much to play for and against a side with only pride on the line, Arsenal should win here. With the Seagulls netting three against City last time out, we’d expect them to get at least one at the Emirates. But Arsenal should be too good. 1 unit.
Leeds Vs West Brom – Handicap – Leeds -1 @ 1.62
Two of last seasons promoted teams go head to head having had very different fortunes this season. ‘Big Sam’s’ West Brom are heading back to the Championship after a season to forget. They’ve been guaranteed to go down for several weeks now and that has seen any fight they had left seemingly drain out of them, with three defeats in a row against Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham. Leeds on the other hand have been the form team of the EPL, having amassed more points than any other team in the last ten games. The ‘Bielsa burnout’ claims appear to have been silenced, with Leeds having got stronger and stronger as the season has gone on. They’ve won the last three in a row, comprehensively beating Spurs, Burnley and Southampton, and will also be wanting to put on a show for the returning Leeds fans, who will be allowed to attend an EPL game at Elland Road for the first time this season. This has home win written all over it, and considering West Brom’s recent form expect Leeds to put a few past them. Leeds -1 at odds against looks a decent bet. 2 units.
UFC Fight Night – Rob Font vs Cody Garbrandt – Winner – Garbrandt @ 2.00
Cody “No Love” Garbrandt has a solid 12-3 record, with two of his losses coming against two-time former UFC Bantamweight Champion T.J. Dillashaw. Perhaps best known for his beef with another two-time former UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz, who he beat and took the belt from, Garbrandt is an underrated contender in his division. Garbrandt has been sidelined for nearly a year after struggling through a ‘particularly tough’ battle with COVID-19. Rob Font has slipped up each time he has had a run of success in the UFC, and we’re tipping more of the same here as he comes up against truly elite competition. Garbrandt’s slightly bigger odds come from his poor run of form, and don’t truly reflect his value in the Octagon. He should be able to finish Rob Font and re-establish himself as one of the division’s elite. 1 unit.
Washington Wizards vs Indiana Pacers – Halftime/Fulltime – Washington/Washington @ 1.98
The all important play in matches come to a close in the East as Washington face Indiana to determine who finishes in the 8th seed, thus earning the right to face the 76ers in the first round of the playoffs. Washington were gallant in defeat against the Celtics earlier this week, doing so with one of their main men Bradley Beal under an injury cloud. They certainly have ways to improve. Indiana on the other hand shot lights out against a Charlotte team that were extremely poor on defence. This result was somewhat surprising given the margin, especially without Caris Levert, who will miss the second play-in game due to COVID-19 protocols. These two teams met three times this season, with the Wizards coming out on top in all three, with all three certainly remaining in the memory back, since they were all played in late March or later. Russell Westbrook in these games averaged 27, 18 and 20 – ridiculous. He will be looking to bounce back after a rather poor game versus Boston. I predict the Pacers’ immense performance to come back down to earth, and a strong response from Russ and Beal to see the Wizards lead all the way. 1 unit.
USPGA Championship 2021 – Top 20 – Tyrell Hatton @ 2.95
The world number nine (immediately promising stat) had a great start in 2021 landing the European Tour’s prestigious Abu Dhabi Championship in January. His form hasn’t been as good as he would have wanted in 2021 but his T18 at the Masters last month (previous 4 years: MC-44-T56-MC-T18) hopefully shows an upturn to contend for a major. However, that is the Masters, a completely different proposition. Hatton contended at the 2018 Open Championship (links course) where he T6, and also a T10 in the same year at the US PGA. In fact, four of his five career Major top 10s have come in those two tournaments, the other being at the US Open links-style Shinnecock. Therefore the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, this years US PGA location, ticks all the boxes and seems ideal for Tyrell Hatton to really challenge. The 49.0 looks like great value to win the whole thing, so by extension this Top 20 also looks very appealing. 1 unit.
Brooklyn Nets vs Boston Celtics – Brooklyn Nets -7.5 @ 1.93
This season the Brooklyn Nets are 3-0 against the Celtics and they did that without their big three playing, namely Durant, Irving and Harden, ever playing in the same game. Their first meeting, Brooklyn won 123-95 and that was with Durant and Irving. In the second meeting, final score was 121-109 with only Irving and Harden playing. Their most recent meeting saw Brooklyn win 109-104 with only Irving playing. You could argue that the lead is getting smaller but with all three superstars playing and Boston’s Jaylen Brown out for about three months, plus the fact that Brooklyn will probably make sure to secure the first home game in a Best of 7 series, I find it unlikely for Brooklyn to not lead by at least 8 points. 1 unit.

Real Valladolid vs Atletico Madrid – Atletico -1.25 @ 1.76
Atletico being on the top of the table face second to bottom Valladolid in the final match of the season. With no European competition left to play for them, Atletico will play a fully inform team to solidify the girls against Real Madrid who are 2 points behind. Atletico last played Valladolid this season and won 2-0 and do rather well against teams who are not in form. With Valladolid having only 2 draws in the past 5 and Atletico looking much stronger they would wanna solidify an early lead and score at least 2.
